Email support@saleswitch.app and a person will answer within one working day. If a sale is running right now and something looks wrong, say so in the subject line and we will pick it up first.
It helps to include your myshopify.com domain and the name of the sale. You do not need to send screenshots — the app keeps an activity log of every change it made, and we can work from that.
Setting up your first sale
- Make a sale copy of your theme
- In your Shopify admin, duplicate your live theme, add your sale banners in the theme editor, and leave the copy unpublished. Sale Switch publishes it when the sale starts.
- Choose when it runs
- Pick a start and end. Times are in your store's timezone, shown at the bottom of the first step so there is no ambiguity.
- Pick the deal
- Create a discount code or reuse one you already have. Shopify starts and expires the code on your schedule.
Common questions
- What happens if someone publishes a different theme during the sale?
- The app restores the theme that was live when the sale started, and tells you on the sale page that the live theme changed part-way through, so the swap is never a surprise.
- Can I end a sale early?
- Yes. "End sale now" on any running sale restores your theme immediately and pulls the discount code's end time to now.
- What if a product fails to update?
- The sale stops and is flagged as needing attention, naming the products it could not change. Nothing is left silently half-applied, and "Restore" puts everything back from the values saved before the sale.
- What happens if I cancel my subscription mid-sale?
- Sales already running still end on time and still put your store back. Cancelling stops future charges and prevents new sales from starting; it never leaves a store stuck in a sale.
- Do I need Shopify Plus?
- No. Sale Switch works on any Shopify plan.
- How do I get a refund?
- Billing runs through Shopify and appears on your Shopify bill. Email us and we will sort it out.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling from your Shopify admin revokes the app's access immediately and starts deletion. The details are on the privacy page.
