Your sale theme goes live
Duplicate your theme, dress it for the sale, leave the copy unpublished. Sale Switch publishes it at the start and brings back whichever theme was live before — even if somebody published a different one part-way through.
A discount code that expires itself
Create a code or reuse one you already have. Shopify starts and expires it on your schedule, so the code is never live a minute longer than the sale.
Prices and product visibility
Take a percentage off, set a fixed sale price, or keep products hidden until the sale opens. Original prices move to the compare-at field, so shoppers see the strikethrough.
Ending a sale is the part that has to be right
Before Sale Switch changes anything, it writes down what was there. When the sale ends it restores from that record — not from a guess about what the price should have been. Run the same sale twice, or restart mid-way, and the original values still survive.
If a step fails, the sale stops and says which products it could not change, instead of leaving your store half-discounted and quiet about it. You can end a running sale, or restore everything, at any time.
